Kansas City, Missouri – The families of three men found dead outside a home in suburban Northland are demanding answers after police stated that there were no signs of foul play. The men, all in their thirties, had gathered at the residence to watch an NFL football game on January 7. Concerns arose when their families couldn’t reach them or the homeowner where they were supposed to meet. Two days later, the fiancée of one of the men discovered a body on the back porch and called the police.

The other two bodies were subsequently found in the backyard of the home. The homeowner told law enforcement that the deaths were a result of the freezing temperatures in the area. However, the families of the victims are skeptical and believe there is more to the story.

Jennifer Marquez, mother of 37-year-old victim David Harrington, expressed her outrage to NewsNation, “I’m furious. Nobody believes this story. None of his friends, none of the families, none of us believe it,” she said. The other victims have been identified as 38-year-old Ricky Johnson and 36-year-old Clayton McGeeney. The police have stated that they are not treating the deaths as homicides at this time but are awaiting cause of death results from the medical examiner’s office.

The families are left devastated and grappling with the loss of their loved ones.

As the investigation continues, the police have made no arrests and report that the homeowner is cooperating. A GoFundMe account has been set up by a relative of one of the victims to assist with funeral costs.

It is important to note that the cause of death and any potential contributing factors remain unknown until the medical examiner releases their findings. The families will have to wait for answers while they navigate their grief and seek closure.
