BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A shooting erupted at a nightclub in Birmingham, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and leaving nine others wounded, local authorities reported. The incident occurred late Saturday night on 27th Street North, where gunshots were fired into the nightclub. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene around 11 p.m., discovering multiple victims with gunshot wounds, as detailed in a video statement by Officer Truman Fitzgerald.

Tragically, two women inside the nightclub, along with a man found nearby, were pronounced dead at the scene. Another man succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital. The identities of the victims have yet to be disclosed.

In the aftermath, additional gunshot victims later sought medical attention, with at least nine individuals still undergoing treatment as of early Sunday morning, informed the police.

As of Sunday morning, the authorities have not identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting.
