LOS ANGELES – Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted a raid on Monday at the Los Angeles residence of Sean “Diddy” Combs as part of an ongoing federal sex trafficking investigation. HSI also searched Combs’ Miami home on Star Island.
The raid took place at Combs’ opulent $40 million mansion located in the prestigious Holmby Hills neighborhood in LA.
HSI stated in a released statement, “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”
While the Department of Homeland Security has not officially identified Diddy as the primary target of the investigation, the home that was raided is registered to Bad Boys Films, a division of Bad Boy Entertainment, which is associated with Combs and one of his daughters.
Homeland Security expert Hal Kempfer, interviewed by FOX 11, mentioned that there had been accusations of drugging young women involving Combs. He speculated that the agency was likely looking into alleged crimes committed across multiple states. Kempfer stated that evidence being sought could include laptops, flash drives, or anything that could link Combs to the accusations. The search warrant for such a high-profile operation would have required a lengthy process, likely involving coordination with state and local attorneys.
The Los Angeles Police Department was also present at the scene but declined to comment. Doug Wigdor, a lawyer representing one of Diddy’s accusers, Cassie Ventura, released a statement expressing support for law enforcement in their efforts to hold Combs accountable for his alleged misconduct.
This raid is the latest development in a series of allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, including a lawsuit filed by Ventura in 2023 that detailed years of alleged abuse during her relationship with the music mogul. Subsequently, two more women came forward and filed separate lawsuits accusing Combs of sexual abuse.
The investigation into these allegations is ongoing, and Diddy’s representation has yet to comment on the raid.
