Cairo, Egypt – December 12, 2006 – After meetings with the South American Community of Leaders in Bolivia, 2008 United States Presidential Candidate, Daniel Imperato, turned his attention towards the Middle East as he arrived in Cairo today.
Today Imperato will start the beginning of discussions on Middle East policy with his policy team in Cairo.
As mentioned in the past, Imperato has urged for an immediate ceasefire in Iraq as well as more dialogue with Middle Eastern leaders.
“We need a new approach and dialog with Middle Eastern leaders. Hopefully I will start the road map in Cairo to win support for the United States around the world and the White House in 2008. I can do the job, bridge the gap, and bring peace and stability to the people of United States and the Middle East.”
When asked what makes his Middle East policy better than others, Imperato responded as follows, “I don’t believe any other candidate understands the Middle East people better than me. To create solutions, you have to be in touch with and have support from the people. They will tell you what they feel are the new solutions to the new problems. I don’t believe any other politician has any new solutions. I do because I have the support from the people.”
