Cairo, Egypt – December 15, 2006 – Today leading independent 2008 U.S. Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato called for peace in the Middle East and called for all people of good will to rally together with him.
“I am calling on all peace activists in the USA and worldwide to rally for peace. The situation in the Middle East has gone on for too long. We need our troops to come home safe and sound. We need the Arab League’s cooperation to handle the challenging problems of the Middle East. People around the world need to show their countries’ leaders that now is the time to solve this problem once and for all.”
Imperato wants peace activists to organize peace rallies across the United States of America and around the world to support his call for peace and cease-fire in Iraq.
“The only way that we are going to have peace in the region is through action. I am officially calling for an immediate cease-fire in Iraq. I am calling for the people of the world to take a stand. I am here in Cairo meeting with my Middle East advisors, doing my best, to figure out a peaceful solution for the region. The fact is without direct action we will never have peace, and I, Daniel Imperato, ‘The Worldwide People’s President’, am a man of action, which is why I call on the people to support me.”
Peace Activist Groups and people who are interested in peace in general should call the Imperato for President 2008 Campaign Headquarters at 561-833-4420 or internationally +01 561 833 4420 for more information on the various global peace rallies being organized.
“The will of the people is strong, and the people must be heard. I want all of the people of the United States and around the world to speak loudly. We want peace. We want a cease-fire, and we want it now.”
