“America’s Got Talent” Semifinalist Kabir Singh Dies at 39

Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh, a comedian who gained fame as a semifinalist on the popular television show “America’s Got Talent,” has passed away at the age of 39. Singh’s fiancée confirmed his death, which occurred on Wednesday, December 4. Although the exact cause of death has not been officially disclosed, it has been suggested that Singh had been dealing with health issues. An ongoing investigation is underway, and a toxicology report is expected soon. However, initial reports suggest that Singh’s death may have been due to natural causes.

Singh was in San Francisco at the time of his passing. He was originally from Fremont, California. He had a successful career in comedy, with his most notable appearance being on “America’s Got Talent” in 2021. His comedic style often drew from his Indian heritage and his personal experiences, particularly those involving his mother.

During his time on “America’s Got Talent,” Singh’s humor resonated with the audience. He often joked about his mother’s newfound ability to text, and the hilarity that ensued from her messages. His relatable and engaging style earned him praise from judge Howie Mandel, who predicted that America would fall in love with him. Singh’s talent and charm carried him through to the semifinals of the show’s 16th season.

News of Singh’s death was shared by his friend Jeremy Curry on Facebook. Curry expressed his deep sorrow at the loss of his friend, stating that Singh had passed away peacefully in his sleep. He asked for thoughts and prayers for Singh’s family and fiancée.

Singh’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday, December 14 at 8:30 a.m at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California, as per Curry’s post.
