VICTOR, Idaho – Authorities in Idaho are on the hunt for an “armed and dangerous” suspect connected to a homicide and kidnapping case. The Teton County Sheriff’s Office issued an Amber Alert Friday morning for 10-month-old Zeke Gregory Best, who was taken from a residence in Victor. The suspect, Jeremy Albert Best, is believed to be driving a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV with Idaho plates.
The investigation began on Thursday night when officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Skyline Loop. Tragically, they discovered the body of 38-year-old Kali Jean Randall, Zeke’s mother, inside the home. Her death is being treated as a homicide, and Jeremy Best has been identified as a suspect.
Authorities are urging the public not to approach or confront Jeremy Best as he is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Best, who is Zeke’s father, is described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 248 pounds, with gray hair and a gray beard.
The sheriff’s office is calling on anyone with information about the suspect, his vehicle, or the missing child to immediately contact them at 208-354-2323 or to dial 911.
This is a developing story, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
