Two people were injured in a shooting incident Sunday afternoon in Hawara, Samaria.
A terrorist opened fire at a passing Israeli vehicle and fled the scene. One of the victims, a man, suffered a serious head injury and was treated by Magen David Adom EMTs before being transferred to Beilinson Hospital
The lightly injured victims, reportedly in shock, managed to call for help.
Israeli security forces scanning the area of the incident found a Carlo submachine gun – the kind manufactured in Palestinian-administered areas – that was left at the scene.
This is a developing story.
