Israel’s Foreign Minister: Activists refused to watch Hamas massacre footage before deportation processing began.

Former climate change influencer Greta Thunberg and other anti-Israel influencers who attempted to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip via a flotilla are awaiting deportation at Ben Gurion Airport, the Israeli government announced on Tuesday morning.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Israeli naval commandos “swiftly took over” the ship carrying the activists in Israel’s territorial waters, off the coast of Gaza, according to the Israeli government.

It took nearly a day to tow the ship to the Port of Ashdod, where the passengers aboard the ship were processed for deportation.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that many of the passengers had refused to watch a video screening of the Hamas atrocities – including rape, murder, and mutilation – of Israeli civilians perpetrated by the terror group on October 7th.

“The antisemitic flotilla members are closing their eyes to the truth, proving once again that they prefer the murderers to the murdered and continue to ignore the atrocities committed by Hamas against Jewish and Israeli women, adults, and children,” Katz said in a media statement.

The flotilla participants were transported to Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday morning, where they will board flights bound for their countries of origin.

“Some of the ‘Selfie Yacht’ passengers are expected to leave within the next few hours,” the Foreign Ministry said in an English-language statement.

“Those who refuse to sign deportation documents and leave Israel will be brought before a judicial authority, in accordance with Israeli law, to authorize their deportation,” the statement added.

The Foreign Ministry also noted that the activists had been granted access to their consular representatives.

Thunberg, the most famous participant on the flotilla, gained public notoriety as a child activist against climate change.

Since the October 7th massacres, Thunberg has pivoted to anti-Israel activism.

She has been arrested several times during her participation in protests, which often featured pro-Hamas and anti-Israel propaganda.
