A gruesome discovery was made in a Brooklyn residence on Sunday afternoon, as two individuals were found dead with severe neck wounds. The victims, a 91-year-old male and a 66-year-old female, were found in a two-story house located at 186 Warwick St. in Cypress Hills. The discovery was made around 4:30 p.m. by police officers responding to an emergency call.
The bodies of the victims were found on the kitchen floor, each bearing slash wounds on their necks, as reported by the New York Police Department. The exterior of the house at 186 Warwick St., where the horrifying incident took place, was cordoned off as a crime scene.
Both victims were declared dead at the scene by the responding officers. The victims’ identities have not yet been disclosed to the public.
A male individual, considered a person of interest in the case, was apprehended at the scene, according to police reports.
