West Palm Beach, FL – January 31, 2006 – “What a Difference a day makes,” stated Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com), “…yesterday the Palestinian people voted for the new democratic government and Hamas was victorious.”
In an election video Hamas claims that they succeeded with Allah’s grace to raise an ideological generation that loves death like their enemies love life. The video also stated that Hamas will not abandon the way of Jihad.
“So you see,” said Imperato, “after the Bush administration aided the PA with $400 million per year for the last five years, and the Clinton administration negotiated land for peace with the PA, it only goes to show you that the PA is an organization built on the supremacy of Yasser Arafat’s ideology of terrorist activities creating a voice in the region. The PA’s biggest problem is that their children have been educated by Hamas and other terrorist organizations. This must stop.”
Imperato wanted to know where was the strategic plan that prepared America for a scenario where aiding the PA would bring about the rise of Hamas and terrorist organizations.
“The question that I have for our administration and George W. Bush and the previous Clinton administration on behalf of the people of the is while leading the free world and leading the United States of America, Bush and Clinton, where was the intelligence, philosophy, and business savvy to see that aiding the PA with several billions of dollars has not only brought them to the point of near bankruptcy but also proves that the billions of dollars were spent inappropriately and commingled with the improvement of Hamas infrastructure in the territory.”
“Where were our leadership skills to foresee the future? They must have been lost with the foreign policy skills of the current administration and the past administration. Our administration and our leader President George W. Bush must stop the waffling. A day ago, in the year 2005, $400 million was given to the PLA. What a difference a day makes.”
While terrorists and convicted felons are not allowed to vote here in the United States, Imperato wondered why Hamas was allowed to vote in the recent elections.
“Now our president George W. Bush speaks out and states that he will not deal with or financially assist the PA with Hamas in its government. Our administration has deployed democratic techniques which are against the constitution of the United States of America pertaining to terrorists voting capabilities and forced Israel to allow Hamas to vote because of the desire of our administration to deploy so called democracy in the region.”
“What is democracy by definition of Bush’s administration? Eavesdropping, not negotiating with terrorists, or both? Our leadership has not only financed the PA and the association with Hamas, they have also allowed them to vote in a democratic manner now leading up to Hamas controlling the PA and its government.”
Additionally, Imperato pointed to the lack of foresight and planning by both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush as well as their respective administrations.
“Gee, George, where was your foresight? And hey Bill, where was your brains? The Palestinian Liberation Organization and the PLO will never come to terms with Israel and the region without education from the roots up. There needs to be banking regulations and financial controls of the distribution of funds to the PLO from the EU and the US. It’s just like the other misuse of funds from the World Bank and the United Nations. The biggest problem that the world has pertaining to the growth of organizations such as Hamas is education and access to money.”
Instead of limiting access to money to groups like Hamas, our leaders, according to Imperato, are standing on the sidelines as this type of activity goes on.
“While our President George W. Bush says that our government won’t provide funding for Hamas led PA, Ehud Olmert’s government is planning on forwarding tax money to the PA this week. The European Union blacklists Hamas in 2001, United States of America says they won’t deal with terrorists, but they’ll let them vote. I get sick to my stomach on behalf of myself and the United States of America to see such poor leadership and poor vision pertaining to the leadership of today and yesterday.”
Also, Imperato objected to us negotiating the land and fate of Israel from across the ocean.
“I stand up to tell the people of the USA that our leadership has had no vision and no qualifications pertaining the understanding of the region, which has led to an open checkbook similar to Iraq, but worse because we are negotiating the life of Israel from across the ocean.”
Concurrently, Imperato felt that the fate of the Israelis should be placed in their own hands.
“Israel needs to stand up for itself and defend itself for its own interest. 50 % of the Israelis state that Israel should negotiate and have a peaceful meeting with Hamas. The other 50% say no way. Less than 50% of Americans support our President George W. Bush and the rest don’t.
Imperato concluded his statement with the following remarks, “Our Democrat/Republican image has been tarnished, deadlocked and proven inadequate. Our president is too caught up with the Democrat/Republican scandals, bickering, and distrust for each other’s parties. Certainly our leader, President George W. Bush has not acted and implemented policy as a light for the rest of the world. Not to mention that its ok for Hamas to vote, but our prisoners in the United States are not allowed to vote. What a difference a day makes.”
