A shocking event occurred in a Queens massage parlor on Tuesday evening when a man brutally murdered his wife in the presence of stunned customers and staff, as per law enforcement authorities. The alleged perpetrator, 25-year-old Jiahai Ma, is said to have stormed into the busy Flushing establishment where his wife, 26-year-old Jui Mei Teng, worked.
Around 5:30 p.m., Ma is accused of assaulting Teng, stabbing her multiple times throughout her body. The horrific act was seen by several customers and colleagues who were present at the time.
Upon reaching the Spring Garden Spa, situated at the crossroads of Kissena Boulevard and Barclay Avenue, police officers discovered Ma still holding the blood-stained weapon, as reported by local news outlets.
Ma was immediately apprehended at the scene. He was later charged with murder, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment. Law enforcement authorities confirmed that Ma had no prior arrest record.
Teng, the victim, was rushed to NY Presbyterian Hospital in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, her life could not be saved.
