This shooting follows a similar incident at Morgan State University, which led to the cancellation of their homecoming festivities.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and found that four adult females, two adult males, and one juvenile male had suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were not directly involved in the dispute that escalated into gunfire. The incident is being classified as an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
