Two years after the puzzling death of a 26-year-old Polish woman in Miami, new details have emerged, shedding light on the tragic incident. Aleksandra Leczycka and her husband, Dawid Leczycka, had traveled from Siedlce, Poland, for their honeymoon in Florida in August 2022. The couple was found unconscious on a Miami street, their cash and jewelry missing. While Dawid survived, Aleksandra tragically lost her life. Initially, authorities suspected a combination of drugging and robbery.
However, a recent investigation by a Polish court has unveiled a different narrative. The court’s findings suggest that the couple had voluntarily consumed psychoactive drugs, leading to an overdose. Aleksandra may have also suffered an allergic reaction to the substances she ingested, contributing to her demise.
The investigation, whose results were made public in October, did not entirely dismiss the possibility that the couple might have been drugged after consuming their own substances. However, the evidence gathered did not directly support this theory.
The tragic incident marked a heartbreaking end to what had started as a dream honeymoon for the newlyweds, who had been married for just three weeks. Prior to her untimely death, Aleksandra had shared pictures of herself and her husband enjoying their honeymoon. The photos depicted the couple savoring cocktails at beachside bars, taking romantic beach walks, and capturing their joyous moments together in selfies.
