Qatar condemned Iran after a missile struck a civilian vehicle in the Al Bahia area in the United Arab Emirates, killing one person, calling the attack a serious escalation and a violation of Emirati sovereignty.
In a statement carried by Qatar News Agency (QNA), Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Iranian targeting that led to the strike posed a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
The ministry said Iran’s continued opening of new fronts and expanding escalation with neighboring countries is “extremely dangerous” and warned that the policy risks further destabilizing the region.
It called on Iran to “immediately cease these irresponsible policies that undermine the security and stability of the region,” urging Tehran to prioritize the interests of the peoples of the region and adhere to the principles of good neighborliness and international law.

Qatar also expressed solidarity with the United Arab Emirates following the attack.
The statement affirmed the State of Qatar’s support for the UAE and for all measures taken by Emirati authorities to preserve the country’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The ministry said Iran’s widening confrontation with neighboring countries increases risks to regional stability.
It reiterated its call for Tehran to halt policies that threaten the security of the region and to adhere to international law.
Qatar said it stands with the United Arab Emirates after the missile strike in the Al Bahia area that killed one person and pledged support for efforts to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and security.
