School Coach Caught Recording Students Naked in Locker Room

A recent legal case has brought to light claims of secret videotaping of students in locker rooms at the Celina Independent School District. The lawsuit, which was filed earlier today, indicates that approximately 30 families have been notified of potential privacy violations involving their children.

The lawsuit accuses Caleb Elliott of secretly recording numerous middle school boys in compromising situations within the locker rooms. The legal action also implicates the middle school principal and Bill Elliott, Caleb’s father, who serves as the district’s athletic director and head coach of the Celina High School football team.

The lawsuit further alleges that Caleb Elliott was engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a teenage student during his tenure at Celina High School. In an attempt to quietly manage the scandal, the school district allegedly transferred him to Moore Middle School, where he was later found installing hidden cameras.

Earlier this month, a group of boys reported to authorities that they were being secretly recorded by Elliott. Investigators confirmed the discovery of multiple images on his cellphone, raising concerns about the district’s handling of the situation.

Attorneys for the affected families argue that the district must be held accountable for its administrative actions, pointing to a history of inaction despite knowledge of illegal activities. They highlight a pattern of relocating staff rather than addressing misconduct.

Bill Elliott was placed on paid administrative leave last week while an independent investigation, initiated by his son’s arrest, is underway. Despite a petition gathering hundreds of signatures, Celina ISD announced he would not participate in the upcoming senior night ceremonies.

The district announced in a press release that the investigation is being conducted by an independent party, with full cooperation in sharing necessary information.
