HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two people were killed early Saturday in a shooting at a party in Harris County, Texas. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for the person responsible for the violent incident.
According to preliminary information, the shooting took place at a house party located in the 11000 block of Muscatine, near Holland and the East Freeway. Approximately 50 people were in attendance, along with a live band, to celebrate a 21st birthday.
At some point during the festivities, a firearm was produced and shots were fired, resulting in two individuals being struck. Emergency services transported the victims to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
