Leibel Lazaroff, a Chabad rabbi in training, survived the Chanukah massacre after being shot twice and returned to the attack site to thank God for the miracle that spared his life.
Just before Shabbos, Leibel Lazaroff traced his memory to the exact place he was shot to say a blessing to thank G-d for the miracle of his life.
Beside him stood Rabbi Ulman, returning to Bondi Beach for the first time since the massacre.
