The Winston-Salem Police Department reported that David Lee Housden, 55, killed his son, Alexander David Housden, 20, and his daughter, Kaylee Nicole Housden, 16, in their home on Water Lily Lane. The incident has left the community in shock, with neighbors expressing disbelief about the events that occurred.

The mother of the siblings was present in the home when the shootings took place and immediately called 911, informing the police of the horrifying situation. Law enforcement arrived at the scene to find both Alexander and Kaylee deceased from gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that David had taken the lives of his children before ending his own.
