YouTube Star Accused of Kidnapping

Corey Pritchett Jr., a 26-year-old YouTube personality from Houston, Texas, is facing serious charges of aggravated kidnapping. Pritchett is accused of abducting two women and taking them on a high-speed car chase on Interstate 10. During the ordeal, he allegedly threatened the victims with a firearm and prayed with them before leaving them on the side of the road, telling them, “This is your only opportunity.”

According to the criminal complaint filed in Harris County, Pritchett fled to Qatar following the alleged incident on November 24. The victims were discovered by deputies from the Waller County Sheriff’s Office near a weigh station off I-10 in the Brookshire area. A local resident had spotted the women on the roadside and alerted the authorities.

Pritchett, who boasts over 5 million subscribers across his two YouTube channels, is said to have abandoned the women after spending the day with them. They had met at a local gym for a workout, enjoyed an ATV outing with some of his friends, and spent time at a local bowling alley. However, the day took a sinister turn when Pritchett and his friends began acting suspiciously, according to the complaint.

The women reportedly noticed a significant change in Pritchett’s behavior. He told them he believed someone was after him and that he was accused of setting someone’s car on fire. Instead of driving the women home, Pritchett allegedly sped off in the opposite direction on I-10, heading westbound toward San Antonio. The women claimed Pritchett was driving at speeds exceeding 100 mph and brandished a gold-colored handgun, firing it out of the sunroof.

Pritchett is said to have made a video call to a female friend during the drive, during which he expressed interest in killing the two women and disposing of their bodies. The women feared for their lives, believing Pritchett intended to kill them in a remote location.

Eventually, Pritchett allegedly threatened the women with sexual assault and murder before changing his mind and releasing them. He left them on the side of I-10, heading east toward Houston. The women walked along the highway for about an hour, attempting to flag down passing drivers.

Pritchett, known for his comedic videos, music, and family lifestyle vlogs, has been vocal about his situation since his arrest. He has posted about the charges on social media, maintaining his innocence and expressing confidence in his legal representation.
