SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A 13-year-old girl was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing her mother multiple times at their home in northwest San Antonio. Bexar County sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident on Talon Run Thursday evening.
The victim, a 33-year-old woman, sustained numerous stab wounds, more than a dozen and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities have uncovered evidence including bloody brass knuckles and a dumbbell believed to have been used in the attack.
In her court appearance, the young girl appeared with pigtails as her father stood by to support her, as reported by WOAI-TV. While the girl’s identity remains undisclosed due to her age, it was found that there was enough probable cause to detain her. The next hearing is scheduled for January 17th.
