Iran struck Israel Sunday morning with a barrage of ballistic missiles, hours after American bombers hit three key nuclear facilities in Iran.

At 7:30 a.m., warning sirens were sounded across Israel after ballistic missile launches were reported in Iran.

Earlier on Sunday morning, a number of suicide drones were intercepted en route to northern Israel, the IDF said.

At least 30 ballistic missiles were detected in bound from Iran, with Israel’s air defense network successfully shooting down most of the incoming projectiles.

However, missiles or cluster bombs deployed by missiles were reported landing in 10 different sites in central and northern Israel, including several direct missile hits.

Injuries have also been reported at multiple locations across Israel, including at the scene of a direct missile hit on an apartment building in central Israel.

The Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency first responder organization has thus far reported treating 11 victims, including a 30-year-old man in moderate condition who was wounded in his upper body by shrapnel, with 10 others listed in light condition.

One apartment building which suffered a direct hit was heavily damaged, with one side of the building cleaved off by the strike, leaving the apartment units inside exposed.

The United Hatzalah emergency service reported that teams were searching for survivors at the scene of another missile strike in central Israel, which demolished several buildings.
