A Hamas terrorist captured while fleeing a Rafah tunnel revealed that the group abandoned everyone left behind, leaving those trapped without food or any way to communicate with higher command.
After Hamas declared that its Rafah fighters would never surrender, reality delivered a blunt contradiction.
A wounded militant who crawled out of tunnels already under IDF control and gave himself up told Israeli forces:
“Hamas abandoned us.
