Exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi slammed the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, saying the 40,000 Iranians killed during January’s protests died for freedom—not to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

40,000 Iranians haven’t died in the span of two days for a nuclear deal or for the Strait of Hormuz to remain open.
They have died for the sake of liberty and freedom and democracy.
And they’ve been oddly absent of any negotiation.
